Champagne Tarlant - Wine range

Vintage 2004

In 2004, the long maturation of the grapes, harvested late in September, gave an intense aromatic expression and a great balance, almost aerial. hence the name of this wine, L'Aérienne, from a few selected plots. It is a Champagne Brut Nature, that is to say non-dosed.

Harvest: September 2004

Grapes: 70% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir

Terroir: Vineyards "L'Enclume", "Les Marguiniers", "Les Forgeottes" and "Pierre de Bellevue": Friable limestone, hard limestone and chalk.

Vinification: Spontaneous (no yeast added) first fermentation in oak barrels. No malolactic fermentation.

Bottling: May 2005

Disgorging: Manual, from 2017 (see rear label for exact date).

Dosage: 0 g/L - Brut Nature

Appearance: Gold with green hints. The line of bubbles is delicate.

Nose:Fine and elegant, l’Aérienne expresses candied citrus zest aromas while keeping a greediness through honeyed and pastry notes.

Mouth: Bright and vibrant, this cuvee is also light and fresh.

Food & wine: The silky texture of l’Aérienne can be paired with white meat like a cream chicken suprême and its seasonal mushrooms.
